Selling Non-Fiction Videos Is A HOT Business

Start producing and selling your own video products TODAY … you don’t even need to own a camera! There is no “Someday” on your calendar. Now is the perfect time to get started in the billion dollar Special Interest Video industry.

Are you a videographer who dreams of being your own boss, setting your own schedule and earning residual income from your videos for years after the work is done? Or do you simply have an idea that you are just bursting to release in video format?

Are you ready to get into your own video publishing business where you can be your own boss, experience the thrill of seeing orders appear in your email inbox 24 hours a day, travel to interesting places to produce information products on topics that you enjoy, and experience the satisfaction of being in control of your own destiny? Good… then you are in the right place.

Does this sound familiar?

You work hard. You do a good job and expect to be rewarded. Time goes by and you find yourself doing the same things over and over, often at the same time, year after year. You feel like you aren’t getting anywhere and your life is passing you by. Maybe you feel like you aren’t even living your life. I chose a different path.

I put my time and energy into producing my own books and videos on topics that I am interested in and enjoy, at my own schedule. I put the effort into making them once and then sell them repeatedly for years. I’ve had many videos sell for well over 10 years! The all-time record is a simple program produced in 1984 that is still selling today. The residual income is an investment in my future, and the more programs I produce, the larger the residual income. It’s about making multiple streams of income that all feed into a large river.

This isn’t a bogus get rich quick scheme.

You may produce a big hit program right away, but honestly I do not think that you should bet on that. I take a long-range approach, which is to keep producing a stream of programs that have a long potential shelf life, sometimes as long as 15 – 20 years.

In my DVD Make Money Selling Your Own Videos I explain that as you continue to add products to your line you add the income from each one together to make an ever increasing stream. The amount of time and effort you put into producing and marketing programs will determine your eventual income, which is only limited by what you put into it. The way I describe it is that many small streams of income merge together to form a mighty river of wealth.

If this sounds good to you, it’s time to stop dreaming and take action. I did it, and my new DVD Make Money Selling Your Own Videos shows how you can, too. My DVD is designed to get you started and you’ll get plenty of additional support to keep you going.

What are “Special Interest Videos?”

In a broad sense, Special Interest Videos, or SIVs, are any kind of production that has a niche appeal.

Do you have a hobby or special interest? Maybe you enjoy fly fishing, woodworking, model trains, quilting, scrapbooking, gardening, golf, travel, motorcycle maintenance or something specific? Those are all topics ripe for producing SIVs to sell to others who share your interest.

Basically, SIVs are a form of publishing information. That’s all. Books do the same thing, but videos use sight and sound, and allow the viewer to “be there” with the camera to experience or witness something. For a longer discussion of what constitutes an SIV, click here. Also, you can see some samples of our SIVs here.

The two DVDs I’m selling on this website about how to produce and market your own SIVs are themselves SIVs. There is unlimited potential to produce programs that appeal to niches under the banner of SIVs, and the opportunities are growing fast. As we enter the age of instantly downloadable videos and internet sales (such as this one), the possibilities are just endless. It is an exciting time to be in this industry, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro.

The best part is, the cost of admission is low. Video production gear is highly affordable and for little money you can have your store available worldwide via the internet. I show you how in Make Money Selling Your Own Videos.

My Secrets Of Producing Successful Special Interest Videos DVD Available Here

New to this type of videography? I’ll teach you some of the important specifics of producing SIVs in My Secrets of Producing Successful Special Interest Videos. SIVs do require you to pre-plan and to produce your program in a way that requires skills and experience you might not have, so it is an investment well worth making.

Start slowly or jump right in … you choose your own speed.
The great thing is that you can wade in slowly, using this business model to supplement your regular income until you are ready to be your own boss full-time, if that is your goal. (There is nothing wrong with doing this part-time.) In fact, for most people I recommend that you don’t quit your job until you get your feet on solid ground in this new business. I still take on occasional video jobs for clients, but only if they either pay very well or if it is something that I am passionate about. I also do this because I love the art of directing and shooting.

The biggest benefit besides the income is the creative freedom to produce programs that interest you. When you have produced a program that you are proud of and you see hundreds or thousands of people buying and enjoying and benefiting from it, it is such a rewarding feeling, in so many ways.

Why Aren’t More People Doing This?

What stops almost everyone with a great idea from pursuing it, whether a video production or anything else, is marketing. People just don’t know where or how to get started. Marketing is a black science to many people who are otherwise smart and creative. It just stops them dead in their tracks, but no matter how good a product is, if you don’t know how to market it you will never make money. I’ve spent over 30 years successfully marketing videos, films, books and multimedia products to a very wide audience of users. You will benefit from my experience.
